Medtec China 2019 received a total of 28,057 professional visits, all from engineers involved with design and development, manufacturing, procurement, quality management and other aspects of medical device manufacturing enterprises. Medtec China 2020 will take place at SWEECC from September 14-16. Now that there is yet no sign of the pandemic being completely curbed around the globe, Medtec will establish an epidemic prevention and control working mechanism and a strict on-site work plan in accordance with the requirements of relevant departments of Pudong New Area and Shanghai. A series of anti-epidemic measures are expected to be introduced, such as real-name pre-registration, temperature measurement, checking "health codes,” and scanning valid certificates before admission into the venue, duly extending the exhibition time, and applying a dispersed layout in popular exhibition areas.
