Conference Background:

• As medical technology and economy continues to gain improvement, new medical dressings are increasingly taking up greater share of the market year by year, its annual growth rate overwhelming traditional medical dressings, and gradually replacing the status of traditional ones. In the global market, the share of new dressings in Europe reached 42%, followed by the United States with 40%, while China accounted for only 3%. China’s new dressing market is still in its incubation and industrial R&D technology level in its infancy. As consumption concepts are gradually shaping up, the demand for new dressings in China will grow rapidly, and in return push the adjustment and promotion of product structure in the medical dressing industry in China.
• From the perspective of the whole medical dressing industry, the market growth of high-end medical dressings is accelerating. Although the use cost is high, the new high-end medical dressing can shorten the wound healing time, reduce the amount of medical dressing, greatly shorten the nursing time and benefit patients. High-tech dressings with more convenient use and better performance will gradually occupy part of the market share of traditional dressings.
• Medtec has organized 3 Medical Dressing Conferences since 2018 and the feedback was positive. This year’s conference will talk about the technology innovation and materials of new type medical dressings, to promote the communication and celebration between dressings manufacturers and suppliers.
